I thought you said you did NOT a get rich quick scheme…

You know whats funny?

People!

Many people realize that they don’t make enough money to do the things that they want or need.

For example, some people can pay their bills, but don’t have much left over at the end of the month.

Others want to quit their job to spend  more time with their kids, or pursuing thier passion, but aren’t sure how to replace their income to do so.

And then there’s those with the “golden handcuffs.”

These are the people who make 6 figures in corporate America and live a 6 figure lifestyle…

…but because of that lifestyle, they are basically living paycheck to paycheck, and are “handcuffed to their jobs to keep paying the bills.

In all of these cases and more, people want to find a side hustle to help give them some freedom.

That’s when they come to me, so I can guide them to thier side hustle and thru it until they make they money they want to make.

However, when an opportunity is presented to them to give them exactly what they want and need, they ignore it!

Thats funny!

You may ask that person about why they need more money.

They talk about spending time with kids

Or getting out of debt

Or being able to take care of their parents or grandparents as they get older.

Or living the laptop lifestyle (travel the world as you make money online)

Or a make money for a charitable cause

etc…

Then you ask them what they are interested in, and many don’t know.

But what they do know is that they don’t want a get rich quick scheme.

The final question I ask them is “what would it be worth to be able to ____________” (to do the thing they need the money for)

And ofcourse the answer is “priceless”

So, when I tell them about the opportunities to make the money they want, without giving up their current job or free time…

…with the potential to have that side hustle income surpass their regular income (even to those in golden handcuffs)

You know what they say?

It’s something along the lines of “Oh, well not that…that will take too long….”

or

“that wont work (for me) because (some excuse)”

At that point, I learned 3 things about that person.

  1. They really did want a get rich quick scheme
  2. they don’t truly want to get the things they said they did
  3. They will be in the same position (if not a worse one) in a  year or 3.

I cant help guide people when they are already where they want to be…broke or comfortable and stagnant.

I can sum this up with a quote from Thomas Edison:

Opportunity is missed by most people because its dressed in overalls and looks like work.
-Thomas Edison

Are you one of those “funny” people?
