Picture this…
You are on vacation in a new (or your favorite) place.
The weather is perfect.
You are with your closest friends and family, and everyone is in a good mood.
The beach (or slopes or trails or golf course or whatever) is practically calling your name so loud that you cant hear anything else.
Now stop for a second…
If I were to ask you to give me some positive things about your vacation location, Im sure you could list off a lot of great stuff.
You may even recognize that the location isnt going to be something that the avg person will see the beauty in…until you start to show people your point of view of how great the place is.
Why am I bringing this up?
Well, an often overlooked part of find an area to invest in is something I call “finding the beauty” in an area.
Yes, its easy to do this when you are feeling good (like on vacation) but many people struggle to do this in land investing.
If I had to guess why people struggle with this, its because people dont really think about what a future buyer goes thru when looking for land.
Sometimes, we think that we are not creative enough or perhaps we feel that the pictures are self evident to how great the land parcel is
(good pictures really can go a long way…if you get the right ones taken)
But with that said, since so few people try to find the beauty in an area, its no wonder so many ads and web pages about a lot are terrible.
Terrible ads means fewer leads which leads to fewer or no sales.
So, how do you find the beauty in an area as you are looking for a place to invest in?
