This will be short.
Sometimes in this entrepreneurial journey, it’s easy to feel that the progress you are making is not enough.
While you understand that you shouldn’t compare yourself to others, you still cant help to notice that someone else is kicking ass, while you are just kicking rocks.
Man, I get it…
But, when I get in one of those moods, I have to remind myself to take a step back and look at the progress I have made so far on my journey.
I see that the things I used to struggle with are no longer even things I think about.
I see that the fears I had when I started out were laughably small!
I see that the amount of money I make from my hustle would have made my former self drool with envy.
And that’s when I tell myself that it’s a marathon and not a sprint!
Like with any long distance race, you won’t be able to sprint the whole time anyway…
…yet, if you were actually running, you probably wouldn’t get upset that you have to take some areas slow.
But, when it comes to entrepreneurship, we can get very impatient.
We have to remember that the money to be made is not going to go away, and there’s enough for everybody!
The only thing that matters is that you keep going, and the success will come!
Going slow (or slower than you want to go) is better than stopping all together.
And never forget, no matter how slow you are going, you are lapping people who never got off the couch!
I’m talking about the people who never took massive action!
The ones who talk about doing something, but never get around to doing it.
They make excuses, while we make money!
So, are you ready to stop beating yourself up and get back to work securing your future?
Yeah?
Then Let’s go!
