Here’s a harsh truth.
Many people won’t succeed as a land investor.
Why?
Well, theres 2 reasons,
1) They don’t want to actually invest any money.
2) Deep down, they are addicted to their current life and problems so they don’t truly want to change
I get it tho, we are all taught some very foolish and backwards things about money…
that mindset causes us to like our inaction and value not investing it
(but we will buy some Gucci or some Jordans with the quickness)
Unfortunately, that mindset is what lead many of us to be in the spot where we don’t have enough income to live the lives we want.
So, you may be asking, “how much should I start with?”
The obvious answer is the more you have the more you can make.
But, I usually recommend having at least $2500 to start with. (more like $3500, but 2500 will work)
While you don’t need all $2500 for a property (you can buy property for $100) but $2500 gives you options on using tools to make your job easier.
While 2500 is a good starting point, you have to be willing to invest a lot more than that.
Real talk, if you are not willing to invest 10k (minimum) in a calendar year AS A ROOKIE INVESTOR, then don’t bother doing this at all.
Honestly 10k pear year is easily made in a part time minimum wage job.
(10k a year is only an extra $833 per month or $208 per week)
The beautiful part about all of this is that you don’t need to much money to even start the land investing process.
Finding an area, looking for “motivated” owners and sending offers does not have to be expensive.
Also, finding a motivated seller often is a great way to force you take action because you will see the golden opportunity right in front of you.
And I know you aint the type of person who will let an opportunity slip thru your fingers, huh?
Bottom line, if you don’t have the cash to invest now, it would behoove you to figure out a way to get the cash so you 10k per year will seem laughably small.
Once you get the money to invest, don’t waste time “thinking about it” just pull the trigger.
Don’t be like the wanna-bes who pretend to invest by reading books, watching YouTube vids, but has done no actual work except make excuses.
Be the outlier and use the knowledge you are learning here to change your life.
